Abstract As part of the 50-year-anniversary of the IEM Teresa Carrasco was invited to compose a piece for the festival Steirischer Herbst in 2015. In this composition live electronics were added to the natural sound of the piano and then played on several loudspeakers distributed in the concert hall. The aim was to connect the moves of the pianist with the sound of the composition through live electronics. Therefore an acceleration sensor was attached to the hand of the pianist in order to track his moves while playing. The tracked data was sent to the composer in realtime to control the live electronics.
