AEMStream - an On-Demand Streaming Server
| Abstract | IAEMStream is an on-demand streaming server product for the open source content management system Zope/Plone. It is possible to handle audio files in various codecs and streams them in MP3 format over the RTSP protocol, using the open source Helix DNA Streaming Server. Additionally it takes over the right- management of Plone, therefore one has a fine-grained control over who is allowed to stream or download specific media files. This report discusses the underlying technologies and the IAEMStream product itself. |
