GRAINY - Granularsynthese in Echtzeit
This paper describes the MAX object library GRAINY, developped at the IEM Graz in the framework of a granular synthesis project. GRAINY provides easy implementation of various real-time applications of granular synthesis.
After a brief introduction the first section of the paper gives an overview of the generic architecture of a GRAINY application, followed by a detailed description of the example application GRAINY's First and a few hints for working with GRAINY. The appendix includes demo patches, which show the usage of the GRAINY objects in MAX, as well as the GRAINY object references.
