Measurement of HRTFs
The aim of the project is the realisation of a system to measure HRTFs (head related transfer functions) automatically, fully implemented in PD and MATLAB. Concerning this matter a comprehensive literature research has to be carried out. The implementation of the overall system requires electret microphones (intensity probe microphones), amplifiers with high S/NR, an appropriate base frame construction for speaker mounting and a comfortable chair construction to fix the test persons head. Furthermore, to measure the impulse responses swept sine signals should be used.
